Explore Asiana Kitchen Tofu & Grill

As someone introducing Asiana Kitchen Tofu & Grill, I like to describe it as one of those places that instantly surprises you the moment you arrive, tucked inside an Asian supermarket food court at 1135 S Dobson Rd #104, Mesa, AZ 85202. The atmosphere is lively yet unpretentious, and the experience begins as soon as your food is ready-especially when a clay pot of soup arrives still bubbling and gently hissing, filling the air with rich aromas and creating a memorable sensory moment before the first bite. The menu centers on comforting, authentic Korean flavors, with tofu soups and grilled dishes that balance heat, depth, and heartiness in a way that feels both traditional and deeply satisfying. Portions are generous without feeling overwhelming, making it easy to enjoy a filling meal at prices that are refreshingly affordable. Alongside the main dishes, the banchan adds another layer of enjoyment, offering a variety of side dishes that are carefully prepared and full of flavor; the sweet potato banchan, in particular, stands out for its subtle sweetness and comforting texture. The spice levels are bold but well-balanced, appealing to those who enjoy robust Korean heat without sacrificing nuance or complexity. What truly elevates the experience is the welcoming energy behind the counter, where friendly and attentive service makes the space feel warm and inviting rather than transactional. Many people are surprised to find such high-quality Korean food in a casual food court setting, yet that contrast is part of the charm, turning an everyday stop into something memorable. From the authentic taste to the satisfying portions and engaging presentation, the restaurant offers a dining experience that feels genuine, approachable, and full of personality, making it easy to return again and again for a comforting, flavorful meal.

This was such a fun experience. The soup served in the clay pot was bubbling and hissing when my number was called. It was a very cool presentation and made for a fun sensory experience. The banchan served with the meal was delicious. I especially liked the sweet potato one.

This Korean restaurant is such a hidden gem inside the Asian supermarket food court! The prices are very affordable, the portions are generous, and the spicy flavor is absolutely amazing. Every dish is full of authentic Korean taste, and the side dishes are delicious too. The owner is super friendly and kind, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Definitely a great spot to grab a hearty and tasty meal!

One of our favorite spots! It located inside the grocery store in a food market section. I always get #9, the Pork Dol-Sot. Basically a spicy bibimbab with pork. My wife always gets the Dol-Sot Bibimbab. Very tasty!

This Korean kitchen spot is amazing! Every time we come to the east side we always come here to eat! The food is so good here! My boyfriend had the seafood tofu stew ($8.99) and I had the dol sot bibimbap ($12.99)! They give you a lot of bulgogi on the bibimbap which I was happy to see!

We have been to this place a few times after shopping at Asiana Market. The food was really authentic. It tastes more like home cooked rather than large chain processed food. The food took about 10-15 mins to come out and we were glad that it was made fresh. Will return again for sure.

This place is great and can make many of their dishes vegan, if asked! They are very careful and have many vegetarian customers. Great tasting authentic Korean food!

I ordered the tteokbeokki or spicy rice cakes, and it was delicious!! The rice cakes were large and chewy, the sauce was delicious, the fish cakes were wonderful too, absolutely no complaints. The portion sizing was personally large, I was able to eat it for lunch twice and then the leftover sauce with rice for a total of three days!
